Madame Zuzu's main proprietor Billy Corgan has contacted many of the world class photographers who've captured iconic moments throughout the band and Billy's history: for images seen and unseen, and all to share with our great Madame ZuZu's family. A limited series of prints will be available each month and available for purchase: framed, framed with UV protected acrylic, or unframed. Given the nature of this offer, very select numbers of these images have been made for ZuZu's. So there is no guarantee that once an image sells out, we will offer more.
The first of the series will be the stunning portrait of Billy Corgan by photographer Paul Elledge in 2004.
Price: $550 + ZuZu Gallery Commission of 10%
Size: 11x17 print (signed by photographer)
A Note from Paul:"I created these images in my Chicago daylight studio in support of Billy’s poetry book “Blinking with Fists”. I chose to introduce the flower based on visons that came to mind from reading the poetry. I knew that I wanted to photograph Billy’s portrait in a light, airy way. The look of the images was achieved by using natural light combined with shooting with very low depth of field using my Hasselblad 500CM"-Paul Elledge
