9 to 5 and Odd Jobs is a 1980 concept album by Dolly Parton centered on the theme of working life. It blends pop and country sounds and features the massively successful title track, which became an anthem for working women and the theme song for the film of the same name.  Critically, the album was seen as a welcome return to form for Parton, with a more understated pop-country arrangement compared to her previous, more polished pop efforts. It was a commercial success, topping the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart for 10 consecutive weeks and reaching number 11 on the Billboard 200 chart.
