Smog / Knock Knock

Smog's 1999 album Knock Knock blends Bill Callahan's introspective, "naked portraiture" lyrics with fuller, more intricate arrangements and production by Jim O'Rourke, moving from his previous sparse style towards a richer, sometimes rock-oriented sound.
