The Rising Tide is the fourth studio album by the Seattle-based rock band Sunny Day Real Estate, originally released on June 20, 2000. Recorded at Dreamland Recording Studios in New York with producer Lou Giordano, the album marked a significant stylistic shift for the band, moving away from their raw "Midwest emo" roots toward a more polished, anthemic sound featuring elements of progressive and symphonic rock.
